So yesterday I went to Disneyland and California Adventure with some of my good buds. I can't believe it, but we spent 15 hours there! It was such a long day, but we had so much fun, time honestly flew by. 

Finally got a chance to test out my new boots and a new shirt I got the other day!

Hello there! Just a quick post on what I wore yesterday. Went to the pool and got my daily dose of tea. Really, nothing interesting happened. But that's what summer's all about, right? 

New computer!

Wearing: Shirt from Forever 21, Shorts from H&M

Just got a new computer!!! Super excited. It's a MacBook Pro and I absolutely LOVE it. I'm still getting used to it, because it's so different from the PC I had before. 

Decided to take an outfit picture for the first time on here :)

I promise, I'll try to  do more outfit pictures now that I'm home.

What I wore

So I realized that I haven't really posted any daily outfit photos. Quite tragic considering I just went shopping on Haight St. last weekend. I must admit, it's been difficult to put anything together when I'm spending most of the day indoors and in dance clothes. Sweats and baggy tees really aren't that attractive... 

Don't get me wrong, I totally do dress up in normal clothes to go to class! But I always forget to take a picture in the morning before I leave :P

New dress

I just realized that I never posted any pictures of my new dress! Which I made myself - skillfully, might I add... I just really love the sleeves! I'm really a fan of long-sleeved, short dresses. This pattern was super easy, and a fun project! It really didn't take long to make.  I started the whole project over Christmas break, but ran out of time to finish it. So I really only finished it when I got home for summer. I was really pround of myself because it turned out so well :)

Now I just need to find somewhere to wear it...

Freelance Whales

I really want a new camera. Currently, I am operating with a Canon PowerShot SD400. Ehhh it's decent, but the picture quality is less than perfect. Unfortunately. I'm not familiar with cameras, but I do want one with a nice lens. And definitely better picture quality.

This morning I was on Itunes, and discovered the band Freelance Whales. They're kind of amazing. For their album Weathervanes, I only paid 6.99! Top songs? Hannah, Starring, Location, Kilojoules, and Generator (Second Floor). Overall good vocals, mix of electronic and instrumentals, beats, and lyrics. If you like the Postal Service, chances are you'll like these guys. Get their free song Hannah - it's the discovery download of the week.

Today just went to Kula, a revolving sushi bar, and 85 bakery in Diamond Jamboree shopping center. Love that place.

Suspenders and Stripes

Yesterday was nice. A bit chilly for summer, especially in California, but at least the sun was out. With that in mind I decided to wear shorts paired with a long sleeve shirt - no sweater necessary :)

I think suspenders add a nice touch, don't you?
